Just out of her first relationship, Halle (Ruby Adelaide) needs a new job, a new place to live, and a functioning car. She's haunted by present-day aliens and the past memories of her older sister, Nora (Ronda Christie), who was in a similar position seven years prior, before driving off a bridge. Halle does her best to keep her cool as she comes to grips with young adulthood, while learning that everyone else in her life is just trying to do the same.
